{About Me}

Hello, my name is Anny. I am a 29-year old suburban housewife and mother of two sweet as pie little guys, Julian (my 2-year old jujube) and Logan (my 7-month old lolo), and am obsessed with everything knitting!

It all started when I was just a little girl. My grandma had 24 children (you read that right) and every summer would come up to Montreal to visit each of her children’s families for just enough time to catch up on everyone’s going-ons and to knit warm woollen socks, mittens, hats and scarves to keep everyone nice and toasty through the long Canadian winters.

It was during these visits that she taught me to knit with some scrap yarns. She would cast on a few stitches for me to work on and patiently show me over and over again, fixing my swatch as I went until I got a square, got bored, or went off to play.

It wasn’t until my first child was born that I took to knitting with the same passion and fervour that she had in every memory I have of her (she passed when I was a teen — at the age of 84).

Now that I have the pleasure to knit for my own two little guys, I feel inspired daily to come up with little something somethings that are both fresh and timeless. I’ve been drawing sketches in a little notebook for a while and am now ready to bring some of them to life.
